FTO Bolivian Caranavi

During the 1950s, large land owners took over the Caranavi region and confiscated the native farmers' properties, forcing them to work under enslaved conditions.  In 1991, through governmental land reform, the land was relinquished and returned to the original families.  The family farmers are now independent and farm their own land. They are know as “colonials”. 
 
This lovely cup has deep, flavorful notes, with very low acidity.  The cup has sweet notes with a full mouth-feel.  Tastes of toffee, vanilla, and bittersweet chocolate linger on the palate.  Full body, full flavor and creamy aftertaste.
